    I gave this book paired with the Thumbelina doll as a bday gift to a 3 year old. She loved it.

    This colorful paperback is a compact version of the DVD "Barbie Presents Thumbelina", which is very different from the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale. I think that it helps to see the DVD first since the book does not contain many cute happenings and character development that make this modern Thumbelina adventure such a delightful story! My grandchildren, ages 4 and 6, liked hearing the book. They especially enjoyed the pictures.
