A long time coming
by ZealPropht (Nevada, USA)
I've been in love with the anime since I first saw it many years ago, so when I heard that the manga series was coming out, I think I screamed loud enough to be heard on the moon!
It's very compact as far as manga go, and it's about half the size of the traditional ones you can find in the store. I'm only sad that it seems like they're not planning to release any more past vol. 1. I don't know why that is. They used to have alisting for the second volume here on Amazon, but it's since been deleted, I think. That's very sad, since it's a cute sort of shonen manga with a lot of humor and some pretty decent artwork.

Worth a look even for veteren comic readers!
by E. Hittlet (Illinois)
When I first picked up Twin Signal it was just to buy something to read until my other comics came in. It wasn't long though before I was racing through the pages and back to the bookstore to see if a second volume had been released. I even bought the 3 episode OAV and not only watched it but forced all my friends to watch too.
I've seen many reviews that don't seem to give this series much credit but whatever cliches there might be in Twin Signal did not hurt it for me. And there are plenty of unique aspects to the story that those same people seemed to miss (The near sighted robot Pulse, for instance. Or Nobuhiko Otoi's vampire classmate).
The first volume focus's mostly on introducing characters and giving the readers a feel for the personalities of the major players. But the introduction was far from boring and everyone I've had read it have asked me where to buy it and when other volumes will be out.
This series is definately worth a look and I recommend it for anyone who likes action, humor, and a shape-changing robot that is too cute for words.
Twin Signal Volume 1 Summary
Robotics expert, Dr. Otoi, built Signal as an older brother for his grandson, Nobuhiko. However, a mishap during construction causes Signal to occasionally become a baby! Soon Pulse appears, one of the Doctor's previous creations, loaded down with weapons and reprogrammed by Dr. Otoi's mysterious rival.
