256 full-colored page with high detail editing .. planet terror screenplay .. and a lot of conversation between the two amazing directors

it was a blind buy for me (( before even seeing the movie )) and i'm happy with it

If you loved the movie - you'll love this book. I actually bought this book before I saw the movie in anticipation and was very happy. It is chock full of beautiful pictures including the ones of Mary Elizabeth Winstead as seen in the movie in the magazine Allure. Jungle Julia's billboards are in here(small) but still in nice enough quality to make up for the size. Pictures of all different kinds of posters are in here...they seriously did not skimp on the pictures in here. Definately worth buying.

i knew nothing of grindhouse and trash movies until i watched it. I can call myself a fan of death proof and planet terror and if you liked the films buy this book. perfect cover ( hardcover), details of the shooting , never before seen photos , behind the scenes photos etc. Lovely book, one of the highlights of my library i can even say next to shakespeare and silmarilion ... .

The reason why bad movies are so fun is that they are made, ostensibly, in earnest. This double-feature is not. It's an homage to such movies, made in a tongue-in-cheek fashion. I don't find this particularly clever or funny. Why should someone be paid millions to make a bad movie, let alone two for the price of one? I will say that Tarantino and his partners should be praised for marketing genius. I'm not going to force laughter or awe for something that is so obviously forced and terrible.
