I bought this a good while ago and my daughter and grandkids (who are too young to remember much of the 80's) still watch and laugh. The best part is that it's something everyone can agree on to watch together! The grandskids looked up the original videos on YouTube and found some of them sadly lacking in comparison to the Weird Al versions. The whole family has been having a great time remembering our old favorites like "Take On Me" by Aha and "Don't ComeAround Here No Mre" by Tom Petty and watching them online. The kids wish they made "good videos" like that today. LOLOL!

Buy this! Have your self a good laugh or two and take a walk down memory lane. If you haven't seen these in a while, you've forgotten how good they were.

HEY! If you're considering paying $100 for this DVD, DON'T DO IT! The videos are certainly worth watching, but by November 2003 apparently there will be a new collection. One that will be digitally remastered and everything! So, just hold off until the Christmas season to watch all of the video genius of Al. Check out the official site for the details under "Ask Al" for Sept 2nd.

Not only does Weird Al make an effort to sound like the originals, he makes an effort to look like the originals right down to their mannerisms. His attention to detail is uncanny.
Added to that, you also get to see some of his more original pieces.

Weird Al is truly the parody king.

Well I would probably have a review for this but when I ordered this video I got a delay notice then a notice that they had cancelled my order because they don't have the video. Hmmmmmm. Seems like false advertising to me. So don't waste your time trying to buy this. They don't have it.
