2.5/4  Spies Like Us Quick Review
I would say this is a slightly above average road comedy. The pairing of Chase and Aykroyd works well, but it's so uneven that I can't rush out and recommend it. Plus the plot will pretty much be lost on today's generation.

This pathetic piece of film deserves to be in the scrap heap. It was the biggest waste of time and one of the least funny movies I have ever seen.

I only purchased it because I am a fan of Steve Forrest (General Sline). He played the part very well, becoming a parody of his character.

Dan Akroyd and Chevy Chase were not funny. Not one single belly laugh in the whole movie. Don't waste your time or your money. (Buy a little gem called "The Whole She-Bang" instead!)

i own this movie it is very funny movie and if you are the type like to collect movies this is one movie you must add to your collection!!!!

Very funny and goofy Movie.
Chevy Chase & Dan Aykroyd play the perfect 2 stooges
of the cold war era.
I rate this movie a 8 from 1to10!!

Premise: Dan Akroyd and Chevy Chase are actually caught cheating on the Foreign Service exam and "promoted" to be spies.

It is a funny movie, with some great sequences. It seems like the kind of movie that would be funnier the second or third time around - or maybe late at night. Overall, I enjoyed it, but it wasn't the type of movie I would seek out again. Somewhat crude humor - not one for the family, but a fun movie overall.

Great film, funny comedy with Donna Dixon eye candy.

Already own this version and have been waiting for a widescreen release for years.

Hopefully they'll be released on Bluray before too long. I can wait.
