A great mix of great music!
by Alice in Wonderland
9 1/2 weeks is a great movie, and this is a great soundtrack. It's very 80s, but eschewing the featherweight pop for a smooth but powerful sound. Each track conjures up a great memory of Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke and that great movie, but don't just buy the album for that, buy it because it's a great mix of great music!

Great Soundtrack!!
by Jennifer D. Denton (Dallas, TX USA)
This is a great soundtrack! This is a CD that you don't have to skip to get to a better song...they are all worth listening to over and over.

HOT
by Matthew J. Muxen (Omaha, Ne. USA)
Ordered the soundtrack for 9 1/2 Weeks after seeing a re-run of the movie
again. Great sounds. Loved the "strip" music of "You Can Leave Your Hat On". Very heavy sounds from a very heavy movie.

vito pasalippo's last ziti alforno
by Jim Scott (Torrance, CA USA)
When 9-1/2 weeks (the movie) came out, I saw it 5 times in the first week. The theater was too crowded so I didn't bring my raincoat. I just sat their and drooled. Then I bought the soundtrack on cassette. Everything was perfect except that great reggae song was missing and I really wanted to hear the ditty that older gal sang at that Italian restaurant.
Her accent didn't sound Italian but that made it even more of a mystery. Anyone know anything about this song and if it is available?
Best from Caesare Linquini.

80's Sex
by Kristin Ann Johnides (Midwest)
LIght, eclectic, and a touch sexy... this is a great CD for the 80's fan,,,without having to get a mullet or wear leg warmers to enjoy!
