Nicholson is a great devil. The ladies are great as the witches. Funny and sometimes scary -- but also sometimes corny. Liked it.

I wish this film could decides if it wanted to be a comedy or a horror - because at times it could go both ways. Nicholson is great playing the ultimate evil (in wicked, rakish fashion). The end is a little much - but is memorable.

This is a movie for the ages. Good movie and J Nicholson is great. If you havent seen it, Take the time. Its old but its good

We bought this film for our Music Department library because it contains a marvelous music lesson where Jack, playing the devil, gives Susan a cello lesson that comes straight from Hell. The Dvorak Cello Concerto never sounded so hot! Totally delicious and not to be missed because it teaches us about the passion of music making.

The movie is great fun and quite different from the book which is much blacker. The witches - Sarandon, Cher and Pfeiffer - are terrific but the devil - Nicholson - is a great example of his letting it all out but not going over the top. Best example is the scene in the church.

More than enjoyable and highly recommended.
