A great movie about Newsies. Lots of good songs and big dance numbers. The story is good as well. Also, young Christian Bale who is adorable.

This is a great movie and I don't know why I don't own this one yet. This was my 1st introduction to hottie Christian Bale. This moive also has a great soundtrack too. I reccomend this to any Disney or musical fan.

This is a great family movie. My mom's love of Christian Bale started with this movie before he hit the big time. The music/dancing is entertaining without being too campy. I enjoyed the storyline. It's one of the movies from my late childhood that I remember and bought as a gift to my mom - she wore her VHS version out. I have no idea if its historically accurate but it is a good period movie and whether or not the story is based in real life, the basic premise of the movie shows quite a bit of the time period. Side note: While Bill Pullman is a good actor, I'm not sure singing is one of his best attributes. :)

I am a musical fanatic, so I enjoy muscials. I'm glad that there are some modern musicals out there to enjoy. I love the music and dancing in Newsies, I also love the story about the newsies. There are some great actors in this one, some who are okay, but over all a great flick.

I like some musicals and Newsies is a great one. The cast is terrific, the story based on fact and the music pulls you right along. This film inspires feelings of sadness, hopefulness, despair and victory. It is fun and engaging and one you'll want to watch many times.
