This is, in essence, a female version of Big. It has a certain charm - Jennifer Garner plays the role with wide-eyed wonder, but I can't help that I've already seen this, and done better. A nice try, but doesn't reach any new heights.

Kind of a cute movie that has some good moments. Garner is hot, but the story is unoriginal. I think most would enjoy watching it as a date movie, but don't get too excited about it.

For all it's a chick-flick, it's a very well-done movie with stellar actors, intelligently-written characters, and with not an entirely typical plot, so that's a win-win. I did in fact watch this before buying it, so I would rent it first, for anyone under 25, it's funny and engaging, for anyone approaching or in the age of 30 themselves, there are a couple trips down memory lane that'll bring back a bucket-load of nostalgia. Dancing the thriller. "Burning down the house" by the Talking Heads. The hair, wow, the hair. I'm not around thirty, so all I can do is look at it like anyone who wasn't from that decade looks at it, but hey, even I appreciate it in my own, post-modern, youthful, masculine way. It must be awesome, right? Anyway, the movie is. Rent it, and if you like it, buy it, it pays for itself after the first few watches.

Enjoyable movie about appreciating your parents and valuing your true friends. Lead actress Jennifer Garner is genuinely likable, in a girl-next-door quality similar to Reese Witherspoon. Mark Ruffalo, as her best friend all grown up is also adorable. This comedy is fun for the whole family, not just thirteen year olds who want to be thirty.

This is a film that makes me happy!
I have seen it several times and I'm enjoying it just as much every time. I find it highly entertaining and so full of joy.
It is a sweet story, with lots of glamour and pretty people in the fashion industry and there are the good versus bad theme and with the happy ending - it is almost like a fairy tale!
Be careful about what you wish for - because your dreams may not be what you really want in life! If you make the right choices - then you can live happily ever after...
Jennifer Garner as Jenna is absolutely lovely!
