Working from his home in a converted windmill, Jonathan Creek (Alan Davies) is a designer/inventor of magic acts with a natural ability for solving puzzles. He soon puts this ability to another use - solving murders. Together with his journalist sidekick played by Caroline Quentin, and later by Julia Sawalha, Jonathan is called upon to solve a series of what appear to be impossible and unsolveable crimes. EXTRAS: the documentary 'Long Hair and Duffel Coat', a commentary by director Marcus Mortimer and writer David Renwick, Alan Davies' and Caroline Quentin's screen tests and deleted scenes.
