These are interesting ideas that might encourage you to research to following laws:

The Law of Pure Potential
The Law of Giving and Receiving
The Law of Karma
The Law of Least Effort
The Law of Intention and Desire
The Law of Detachment
The Law of Dharma

By learning about these laws you will see why it is important to sow what we want to reap (Karma) or to not become desperate or obsessed with something we want (detachment). Do you feel you have a unique gift to give the world then this is something to do with your purpose and the Law of Dharma.

I had watched this DVD before many years ago but this time I came away with new insights. In this DVD you will hear a lot bout a "higher power,' "the Universe," "Spirit,"
and "Power." To me this is all a discussion of God and his creative powers. Even Deepak explains that the Universe is God's creation.

This DVD is really a collaboration between Olivia Newton-John and Deepak. She makes the music and he explains the laws. There are a few other people on this DVD who explain their stories and teach you unique things. I could related to one speaker who said that his purpose in life is service. I think we all want to be useful in life.

I would only recommend this to people who have a strong faith and can easily pick out inconsistency when it occurs. Why not just talk about God when describing the universe. I'm not totally convinced that the universe is an intelligent creator. I think God is that creator and we are missing the point if we continue to believe in a universal intelligence.

4/5 A corny yet helpful DVD

The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success summarizes, more or less, well-known spiritual laws that we've all heard of (in The Secret, for instance), but conveys them sometimes with a fresh point of view. And Olivia is a pleasure to see and watch, of course. All in all, I'd recommend it.

I didn't like the book at all. A few pages into chapter one was all I could do.
I had to re-read at different times to make sure what I was reading,
though the writing style was simple, I found it difficult to follow
unless I was trying too hard to comprehend the message that I missed it.
I don't know. Maybe later....much later, I will try reading it again.
Material is vague, and seemed to me at least to be written in riddles.
I understand his books are very popular, but I at least could not
identify with this author. He had absolutely nothing to offer me
not even spirituality.

I think Oprah's show on the same subject was far more beneficial.

Deepak Chopra's movie based on his book 'The Seven Spiritual Law's of Success' is phenominal. If you loved the book and are looking for another way in which to learn the information contained in it, then get this movie. I feel that this is one of his best books as far as resources for personal growth, spirituality and success! Thank you Deepak!

I first viewed the DVD by way of Netflix. Excellent advice on spirituality mixed with everyday living. One hour of powerful ideas and a great guide. Loved it so much I ordered my own copy.
