    Strays Summary Vin Diesel in his directorial debut "Strays" takes a hard look at his own adolescence and upbringing in New York City. Rick (Vin Diesel) is a "stray" – raised on the streets, lacking a traditional family structure and wrestling subconsciously with his father’s absence. When he meets Heather, he sees the opportunity for a meaningful relationship and an escape from a world of drug dealing and street hustling.
