If you are a fan of the book, you'll find the movie dissatisfying.

Unfortunately at roughly 90 minutes long, this TV movie is not given enough time for much character development. For eample, in the book, books goes into much detail the reason that Miss Beasley would offer Will Parker a job, but in the movie, it comes out of the blue - he visits the library once and she gives him the job a few months later.

As for the so-called "graphic" sex scenes, I have no clue what the other reviews are talking about. If you buy this movie thinking you are going to see much of anything; think again.

This movie was shown on CBS as I recall. There are plenty of more graphic sex scenes on daytime soaps and night time TV dramas these days than what is depicted here.

Received the Morning Glory quickly. The disc was wrapped well, no shipping problems, arrived in like new condition. Did read some reviews before ordering, stating their copy did not play well, skipping parts of the movie, etc.I just read the book so while watching the movie I was paying close attention to not only how well it compared to the book, but for any playing problems. Mine played without any problems.

When Iam ordering I like to see a detail of the condition of the disc & the cover. Some state this & some don't. I like the ones that state the cover is like new & no disc problems. Even more so because other had stated they had probems with their Morning Glory disc. I went with a newer copy hoping to avoid problems the other people had. carol collins

Delivery was fast.Had no problems with the product company did great job would order from them again.The movie was great enjoyed it with the family. Would reccommend to anyone

1/5 Unnecessary nudity, adult comments, language

I (apparently in error) assumed an unrated movie did not include nudity or adult situations. Nudity, adult situations, comments, and language ruined this movie for me. And the scene was totally unnecessary to the story. This one's going in the dumpster. I'm sorry I purchased it. I try not to purchase movies that support Hollywood's warped idea that we can't enjoy a movie that doesn't include filth - guess I messed up on this one. I'll be more careful in the future.
