I don't think any other movie has come around in the last decade that has impacted our culture like this, especially during Halloween. This film is always a pleasure to watch during the holiday season, the music, songs and animation are just remarkable. I love the characters and all the creepy humerous things that they do.

If you truly want to blow your kids minds with a Halloween movie I always suggest this one, it will leave them wanting more and next thing you know you'll know you're adding it to your DVD collection.

This movie is not just a cult film but has become a Halloween and Christmas animation classic.
The music soundtrack should be on Broadway; and the stop motion animation is awesome.
Once again Tim Burton tackles one of his favorite subjects as only he can, the magic of Christmas...but this time, it's viewed from a darker fringe. Of course, It looks incredible in Blue Ray; thank you for your creativity and talent Tim Burton!

The combination of Tim Burton's vision and direction, Danny Elfman's score and the outstanding stop-motion animation plus the enchanting and original story make this one of Disney's all-time best animated stories. It has been my favorite since it was released, but I introduced my 2 and 4 year old grandchildren to the video when I purchased this copy. They are totally mesmerized by the story and the music. The more they see it, the more delighted they become with the characters and their personalities. They've started to be curious about the way the animation is done, as well. As a bonus, it's an all-purpose holiday film which lasts the entire season from Halloween through Christmas!
