This is what "Beautiful" sounds like. The perfect blend of voice with percussion, hi-techno,( is that a word?), rhythm, back-up, and space for the mind to roam. She makes it sound so easy. Her ease invites you to relax and feel good.

My all-time favorite song on the CD is Invisible Tattoo. That is the song for which I purchased the CD. I find it deeply romantic. The rest of the CD is nice. It's very mellow. This artist reminds me of Sade with her soulful singing style. It's cool. I like it.

I was made aware of Sharon Robinson this spring at a Leonard Cohen concert. I loved the tone of her voice and her style of singing. This is a wonderful album and she covers 2 Leonard Cohen songs magificiently. Her collaboration with Leonard Cohen on Ten New Songs is also a not to be missed CD.

Sharon Robinson is best know for her work with Leonard Cohen but she is a great singer songwriter in her own right. This CD is a worthy addition to anyone's collection.
