Mr. Who?
by Brian Lueth (Chicago, IL United States)
A WWE film vehicle for Mr. Kennedy (Ken Anderson)? As if being the third installment in a "just okay" action franchise weren't bad enough a hambone wrestler has to be added to the mix? Well before you scratch this off your "must-see" list lemme just say for the record that this was pretty damn entertaining! If I didn't know better I'd say this was purposely made with the intention of playing it a trillion times on Spike TV and that my friends is a good thing indeed. Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia was definitely a low budget affair but delivered everything a good made-for-TV action flick shoot, namely 'splosions, shootin' and stabbin'! Need more?
All of the acting was decent, just what you'd expect from a small "shoot 'em up" combat flick, and the production design was fantastic. Hell, even Mr. Kennedy delivered without spraying canned cheese all over everything! Once again I ask, need more? There was no nudity or, if I recall correctly, cursing but as far as combat flicks go, especially direct-to-DVD ones, this was reasonably entertaining.
I'm a Cannon man myself but Cannon is long gone and we action junkies have to rely on whatever drops to DVD and the shelves of Blockbuster. Some of these flicks end up being horrid, filled with CG and poor writing, others end up being just what the doctor ordered, "Take two 'sploisions and call me in the morning." This won't end up being one of those flicks you add to your favorites list but it'll keep you occupied and won't completely disappoint you if you should rent. There's nothing new here, we've seen "the team is ambushed and set up" thing a million times, as well as the "let's rescue our teammate, orders be damned," but this is mindless combat action for the action junky, period.

More Entertaining than I expected
by J. J Woehr (Lindenhurst, NY United States)
I found this movie to be decent for a made for dvd movie. I mean I have seen much worse, like Joy Ride 2 and Lost Boys 2. While the WWE's former star Mr. Kennedy is less stiff on screen than the over-rated WWE star John Cena. I think he was better here than Cena was in both of his movies despite not being the main star. Director Tim Matheson (Animal House, Fletch) handles the action fine as well. But other than that this movie isn't that different than the previous BEL films. But I was more into it than I expected to be anyway.

A complete waste of time, budget and poor acting
by F. Burzi (Colombia)
First of all... The producers know nothing about Bogota and Colombia in general. They show Bogota as a poor tropical crap (as usual by many US producers/directors) and I'm tired of this. Bogota is a beautiful 10 million people city located at 2,700 meters over the sea level, so it's a cold weather city/metropoli and not that tiny hotter than hell town shown in the movie.
Very bad acting and stupid argument and dialogs.
Don't get me wrong... I was born in Canada but I live in Colombia and I liked the past movies of the series, but this one is a big garbage and I will not waste my hard earned money on this. You'll not see accurately what Colombia really is and what happens here in this nice country so I recommend not to waste money on this nastiness.

WWE Needs to stick with wrestling... Terrible movie!!!
by Phillykid
this movie is absolutely horrible!!!!!!! All of the movies I've seen that have an association with WWE are bad... they have this gay soundtracks playing through the entire movie like it's a HBO porno... Alot of the scenerios in the movie were not realistic like when they give the captured American McDonalds... Where is there a McDonalds in the jungle??? BAD MOVIE especially for those who like good military films... back at the command center they turn on the TV and amazingly the very operation they are involved in is on the news... Now I've watched the news all my life and don't ever remember us even getting any south american news. And how is the news covering this every time they turn the try on at that very moment?? Bogota looks nothing like how it's portrayed in the movie. It's an actual metropolitan city and the movies show unimproved jungle. I really wish they would stick with wrestling and leave movies to those who do them properly. I didn't know they were associated with this film but if I did I wouldn't have bought it!
