5/5 Hulk vs All!!!

I have limited words to say for this. If you are a fan of Marvel then you must get this!!! This is actually better than the hulk movies and definitely better than X-men the movies. You will see the Hulk and will also appreciate the beauties of other characters such as Thor (The god thunder)as you see them animated to life. Watch this!!

And what they are are basically 45 minutes of watching a moving comic book.

I can't say I really preferred one over the other, to be honest, they were both decent ways to kill time while having nothing in particular lined up for afterwards.

The only gripe is the animation; I know they're comic book characters and all, but the animation, in regards to the people, was bordering on atrocious; ghastly stuff there.

Oh well, I guess I was spoiled by growing up in the golden age of comic book cartoons: the 90's; now THOSE were some choice cartoons right there.

I want to say this Movie was beautifully done, lots of blood and carnage, deception and noblity, I give it two thumbs way up. because HULK SMASH THE CRITTICS.

Hulk vs Wolverine
It's a great buy and includes some awsome Marvel fan favs....but it should have been a lot more in depth and where the hell is Genral ThunderBolt??? Where ever the hulk is the Hulk Busters are never too far behind and where was Wolverines Canadain Team Alpha Flight??? If you are going do a Wolverine Story when he is still fighting for Department H you have to include those guys!!!!! Besides that it's a great movie.

Hulk vs Thor

Great story line and action....but they way the story starts out I can only assume that the story is in a timeline where Thor has already meet the Hulk which means he already has meet the Avengers....yet Thor never summons a single Avenger to his aide..now I understand that they probably would not be allowed in Asgard in the first place..but Captain Americia has been seen as an equal to Thor, because he is one of the few heroes who is able to pick up Thor's hammer...which can only be done by a true Champion...just saying it would have been nice to see sone of are other Avenger buddies thats all...

This being my first animated, comic-inspired movie, I was leery. Being a hardcore comic fan, I almost expected to be disappointed. After watching Hulk Vs., however, I can say that I'm a fan.

Battle #1: HULK vs THOR (and friends)
Clearly based on the original Avengers storyline, this is a story of Asgard in danger. Odin is asleep, and it's up to Thor and his soldiers to protect their land. His brother Loki, desperate for control, seeks to attack by putting a spell on the Hulk and turning him loose. The action is tense and exciting. Watching Hulk tear through Asgard, and beating Thor to a pulp is awesome. Seeing him palm people by their heads, necks, and legs, throwing them like ragdolls, is hilarious. Have no fear! Without ruining the ending, it's safe to say that the story ends up as most Marvel storylines.

With this story, I have a problem. Hulk could not beat Thor. It's just unreal. Even the most cursory knowledge of Marvel superheroes would tell someone that. Thor was literally created by Stan Lee as an answer to the near omnipotence of Hulk. He's a demigod for goodness sakes! Overall, however, the storyline for this one is fairly well developed, the action is awesome, and the resolution is near perfection.

Battle #2: Hulk vs. Wolverine (and friends)
Let's see... a massive free-for-all inside the Weapon X compound where Hulk is the proverbial bull in a China shop headlines the story. Battling Wolverine is bad enough, but add in Deadpool, Lady Deathstrike, Omega Red, and Sabertooth and you have a serious battle royal. At one point there is a great flashback to the Weapon X series, and issue #181, that brought us all the most awesome of all X-Men characters: Wolverine.

Deadpool's wise-cracking steals every scene, absolutely hilarious. The story really isn't all that developed; it's just an excuse to have a vicious, bloody battle for 30 minutes. Not that I'm complaining.

With incredible animation, superb story-telling, perfect voiceovers, and just HEAPS of action, this double-header is the quintessential reason why people become comic book fans. Bravo Marvel!
