This is not the type of dvd I would normally purchase. More often than not, I would seek out a rock opera, or a folk festival, or perpaps even a woodstock retrospective. But I took a flyer with David Foster, and could not have been more satisfied. In fact, I was watching it tonight for the third time in three nights. It is a mastepiece concert with several jewels. The "Prayer" with Andrea Bocelli and Katherine McPhee is one for the ages. As an unapoligetic American Idol fan, I never imagined Katherine sounding like this with one of the greats of out time. And Josh Grobin, with You Raise Me Up inspires all. This is not the kid we remember from Allie McBiel. Among these masterpieces are sprinkled good performances fom Boz Scaggs, Michael Buble and Brian McNight. Those of you with Blue Ray will enjoy the crisp sound and picture quality. Buy this Blue Ray DVD and enjoy it again and again.

David Foster could not have brought together such outstanding artists under one roof - how could I have missed that event. Obviously the songs the artists sang had something to do with David's involvement so you are not going to hear something outside of that space; but the show was well done and very personal. It is an excellent Blu-ray to own - the video and audio quality was worth it. It is definitely a disc to see more than once.

My wife and I have always been fans of David Foster's music, moreso since the Love Theme from St. Elmo's Fire was the main song at our wedding twenty years ago. When we saw this concert, we did not hesitate to purchase it. We saw the entire concert in one sitting despite the length of it, we just could not get up. What is so entertaining is the variety of talented singers and the varying genres of music. From Cheryl Lynn, to Andre Bocelli, to Stephanie Mc Phee to Josh Groban, from Brian Mc Knight to Boz Scaggs, from Blake Shelton to... well the list goes on and on and despite my personal opinion that I find Michael Buble in general, a bit dull, his performances at that concert were excellent. One of the highlights was the two songs literally belted out by the 14 year old Cherise. Such a resonant voice on such a little body is indeed unbelievable. The audio and video quality of the production is flawless. This DVD will surely be replayed time and time again.

I honestly bought this blu-ray concert to watch and hear one specific person sing. After watching the whole program, I started to like the variety of music artists in it. The sound and video is great compared to other concert blu-ray. This is worth every penny. I bought a good amount of blu-ray movies, but, this is the discs I mostly watched repeatedly. I am loving it.
