This album contains everything that drew me into the music of ICP...the dancing dead, genius concept, the dark carnival and the characters within, corrupt humans recieving punishment and judgement, Violent J's relationship with the dead, reflections on the mysteries of life, humorous skits, and twisted love songs. How deep is this deck?

4/5 Finally! An worthy follow up to jeckel brothers!

Although I'm not a big fan of ICP (a.k.a juggalo), I still enjoy their music. In my opinion their best albums are the great melinko and amazing jeckel brothers. Their more recent albums (hells pit, the tempest, wraith,etc) were decent at best and basically pretty bland.
Ever since jeckel brothers, I've been looking for an album that was just as awesome, but their follow up albums lacked the creative spark that made them interesting and fun to listen to.

That's why I'm so glad they released bang boom pow! Its much better than those albums and revisits what made them so well known in the first place. The beats are better than ever and it doesn't drag on or seem watered down like the recent efforts. Although it took several disappointments along the way to get here, they finally made a worthy follow up to jeckel brothers.

If you liked great melinko or jeckel brothers, then I highly recommend this album to you and you don't have to be a juggalo to appreciate it.

Hate em or love em. ICP are on top of their own game. This record is showing a newer version of the old school music, a must have for any big ICP fans or Juggalos. Overall I will say, this is an album for die hards only. Anyone who hates ICP or music Juggalos listen to for no reason, will not like this record..... so don't bother.
