He made it first.
I so love Ingrid Bergman. She was beyond beautiful. So, I love this movie. The plot is great and something special for remark is Cary Grant not making a "nice" guy. The plot is great, and it was already copy by a movie in the recent years....

Notorious Quick Review
This is how Hitchcock is supposed to be. Suspense that keeps building. Terrific chemistry between leads with a compelling story. If you like classic film noir, it won't get much better than this.

Notorious Quick Review
Not for me, as I did not find it interesting. It was slow, out dated, and I was disappointed in this Hitchcock film.

I love Biggie. But I also love Tupac.
by S. Hwang
i felt like this movie was biased and lop-sided. didnt really show any part of tupac's side of the story, and it made him look like the bad guy of the story. also made him look like a b!tch. the real enemy of this story was the bitterness between tupac and biggie because of the media and the whole east coast/west coast rivalry, when in the end, they're all brothers trying to get up out of the ghetto and really weren't as different as they thought.

Notorius
by Mark A. Berry (Saint Louis, USA)
This movie provided a glimpse into the life of what some people say the greatest rapper ever. His life was tragically cut short on his up the ladder to an even more successful career in the world of hip hop. Very interesting movie and definately recommend this movie if you are a fan of hip hop and the rapper this movie is based upon The Notorious B. I. G..
Notorious [Blu-ray] Summary
Chronicling the extraordinary life of Christopher The Notorious B.I.G. Wallace, Notorious follows the young rapper from the tough streets of Brooklyn to the heights of superstardom as he juggles the increasing demands of fatherhood, marriage and a music career. Amid chaos and controversy, Biggie s remarkable talent and fierce determination help to solidify his legacy as one of hip-hop s greatest M
Studio: Tcfhe Release Date: 04/21/2009 Run Time: 129 Minutes Rating: R
In music terms, Brooklyn’s Christopher "Biggie Smalls" Wallace was a hip-hop superstar to rival Oakland’s Tupac Shakur. In movie terms, however, 2Pac has long overshadowed B.I.G. with the films he made as an actor and the documentaries that followed in the wake of his similarly-unsolved murder. George Tillman Jr. (
Soul Food
,
Men of Honor
) aims to correct that imbalance with
Notorious
, the authorized biography of the larger-than-life New York rapper. Produced by his mother, Voletta Wallace (played by Angela Bassett), and record producer Sean "Puffy" Combs (Derek Luke), Tillman presents Biggie as a bright child who grew up to be a drug dealer before finding his true calling on stage, only to be cut down in the prime of life. In his feature-film debut, Jamal "Gravy" Woolard captures Biggie's complexity--the loyalty to his crew, the disloyalty to his ladies (including Lil' Kim and Faith Evans)--but struggles to make him as sympathetic as the figure that emerges in Nick Broomfield's
Biggie & Tupac
, simply because the script relies too heavily on the usual musical-bio clichés. Fortunately, several bright spots elevate the scenario, such as Anthony Mackie as Pac, Christopher Wallace Jr. as young Biggie, and Woolard's rapping, which segues seamlessly into B.I.G.'s (the soundtrack mixes original tracks with remakes). If
Notorious
isn't a failure, it isn't a triumph either, but Tillman has crafted it with love and respect, and only a stone could remain unmoved by the real-life funeral footage at the end.
