In one word, awsome. The epic tale of the Highlander retold through the style of classic Japanese animation. I loved everything about this movie. Visualy stunning, hand drawn animation, an epic storyline, and a very talented voice cast all add up to another Kawajiri classic.

I highly recommend, This movie was great!!!, very entertaining from start to finish. The Movie has a dark feel to it, which in my opinion makes it even more enjoyable. The scenery in the film was Very well drawn. I heard that they are thinking about making a sequel, that would be great!!!

5/5 Not exactly a sequel but a fine entry in the franchise

Like some of the better entries in the Highlander franchise this anime film does not attempt to intrinsically link itself to either the movies or the series but rather stands on its own.

It is well drawn, well acted (fans of the series will be delighted by Jim Byrnes AKA Joe Dawson's portrayal of two character voices) and is full of action and romance.

The story follows the tragic tale of Colin Macleod, a pre-Roman Scot whose wife is crucified by an invading Roman general who is also an immortal. Colin hunts his nemesis for the next few thousand years guided by his mentor and 'spirit guide' (it comes off cooler than it sounds). Until a final showdown in the general's citadel in a post-apocalyptic future dominated by a few war lords.

The story is tight, reasonably logical (no mean feat for Highlander, see Highlander 2 and the Source) and action packed.

Any fan of Highlander or most animes will undoubtedly enjoy this film.

Are you a big fan of anime ? or do you prefer Highlander ? This is a combination of the two. It's an all new addition to the highlander series (movies or actual series). The story will grab your attention as you watch the immortal Colin going after the man that killed his wife. There's just two problems, one: the man that colin is after is also immortal, and two: he killed Colin's wife centuries ago... Talk about holding a grudge. Great action, story lines, definately should be viewed by mature audiences. Overall a must have !
