Yea so this saber marionette J is the best out of the series. Best storyline, Character design, and best voice actors. Worth the buy. Sorry im not so good at explaining my reviews but i would recommend this

I enjoyed Veiwing "Saber Marionette J" complete collection. It is humorous and has an entertaining story.
The product information on this page is not accurate at the time I am making this reveiw and to correct that here is what you get in this collection. 6 dvds English and Japanese language tracks and English subtitles with limited extras on some disks including music videos bandai preveiws and SMJ databank(character profiles).
a total of 655 min. of programing. On the case-cover it claims to have a Spanish voice track but I did not try to use it so I can not say it is there. This is a good buy. See other reveiwers for spoilers.

5/5 A light-Hearted And Cute Sci-Fi Action Anime For All Fans

This is probably up there in rank with the animes like Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, and Outlaw Star. The series itself is very light so don't worry about anything to hardcore or dramatic like Wolfs Rain or the Gundam series the SMJ series does have the martial arts and action sequences in it but nothing heavy or to serious more in the range of Ranma. Also there isn't anything to adult in the series either so don't worry about children seeing this series. The humor in the series is also reminiscent of the Ranma series so if you like that show just as I do you'll definitely like the SMJ series. The story mostly follow on the character Otaru and the three marionettes(Highly advanced androids but the three marionettes with Otaru have true emotional feelings unlike the regular marionettes) he is with and the misadventures they have to face. There are of course other characters in the series you'll grow to like to and again for me it was reminiscent of the series Ranma. The Voice actors for the dubbed audio were great and the Japanese subbed actors were of course terrific as well. The video is standard format and nice and clear so no worries with the picture quality. So if you like the funny, action, and sci-fi animes here's a great one for you...

The Cherry, Lime, Bloodberry combo feels cheesy at first... but quickly becomes pivotal to the story.

This is really worth watching. The combination of the three personalities mixed with themes related to loyalty, love, and commitment to friendship just makes this a fine work.

The story is not as deep or involved as other harem anime (Tenchi, Love Hina, etc... etc...) But it strikes a fine balance of depth and light hearted humor.

The character design is a bit cheesy too but it grows on you so quickly it is easy to over look.

There isn't any fan service but at times they hit the "sexy nail" right on the head with Bloodberry. Fun.. playful.. enjoyable.

Worth your money.

This is one of the best animes i've seen.
For me it was the time that the US invaded Afganistan, and the complex story of the "bad guy" really got to me because of war.
I am a pacifist and I found in this anime a very good point of view of being in a war.
In general its very funny and the girls (Marionettes) are so cute!!!
If you wanna see something different and funny that actually has a message, this is your stuff!
