    La Tiendita Summary Genaro is a lazy guy, living in the city of Mexico . His bad habits have gotten him into deep debt, forcing him to borrow money from the neighborhood loan shark, who sends out his enforcers whenever he needs a loan repaid.     Genaro is a lazy guy, living in the city of Mexico . His bad habits have gotten him into deep debt, forcing him to borrow money from the neighborhood loan shark, who sends out his enforcers whenever he needs a loan repaid. Ironically, Genaro receives a letter informing him that his grandmother's sister in Veracruz has died and named him the sole beneficiary of her small religious business. Genaro flees from his collectors, and takes a bus to Veracruz . Once in town, Genaro immediately changes the business from religious items to sex shop items. In spite of the town's disapproval and the loanshark's pursuit, Genaro manages to keep his sex shop store.
