Great upper body & arms conditioning

I practiced the art(Belly Dance) for a number of years- then kids, job and horses took the time. I have decided to go back to belly dance- for the joy and conditioning it offers.
I really like this DVD. Rachel talks through every move and prompts the viewer to breath and relax the jaw and shoulders.
I was sore after I practiced this DVD and I'll be back for more. I love the conditioning it offers, and the cool down relaxes and calms.
This is not "fluff" this is(in my opinion) great conditioning to get the viewer ready for the dance, If you are already a dancer- this is still a great way to be aware of your posture and continue to improve yourself and your dance.
Rachel's performance at the end is nothing less than inspiring!

Fantastic!

I initially bought this because I love Rachel Brice and thought this would be a nice arm workout - but it's so much more! While the main emphasis is on arms, you work your thighs, back, shoulders, ribs, neck and entire body. I really felt this practice through every muscle and think even intermediate - advanced dancers would be surprised at how much they get out of it. I wouldn't recommend this for people with bad knees though.

Too good but too short !

Very good exercices, and it really helps to focus on you back when moving arms and not on your shoulders.
As previously mentionned above, I agree on the lack of combos to work on. And also a rough guide on how do you practice to create your own postures.
Rachel is gorgeous as usual, and I liked the small interview with Miles Copeland at the end.

this dvd has a lot of repetition. but man does it give you alot of moves to add to your dance vocabulary. and rachel also gets you to focus on your upper half for creative dance expression. this dvd is a companion to her first dvd. by the way you will be totally mind blown by her proformance at the end of this dvd..... She is the woman!!!
