This is one of the most charming and entertaining movies I have ever seen. I remember it as a boy and it has retained its magic and charm after all of these years. Wonderful family entertainment that I recommend highly.

Our kids love this cartoon and seeing it once every Christmas on television is not enough. I had an old vhs copy that was grainy (getting old and flickering). It was time to just get the DVD to have on hand. Now our 5-year-old wants to see it anytime of year, but both she and our 8-year-old will enjoy it every Christmas, certainly more than once. It's a part of our Christmas movie collection.

This is the version we all remember from growing up in the 60's & beyond. It has all the original music, not the unfortunate "pop" replacements I read about in another version of the DVD.
