I'm a big fan of smashing pumpkins and i was trying to get this dvd long time ago.
i think this is a good item to get for a SP fan, on the dvd story they show you what Billy had to go through to get back with SP
and the DVD concert just rocks it was so nice to see them again !
I think this is definitely an item for fans

the title says it all. been a fan since 1990 so i was looking forward to this but after seeing the"concert" part i wonder if this so called producer had a clue what a concert doc. really is!!!!! this just sucks!!!

I am a big SP fan, so of course I like it, but others probably will not. A simple decision.

Not the first classic hit..I dont know why he calls them The Smashing Pumpkins if he isnt doing any of their hits. They could at least do a few in a encore performance at the end of the show! Give us Bullet With Butterfly Wings! or 1979 or something that we remember from your heyday!
the new songs are good too but I wanted a concert with the classics too!

So I'm not exactly sure why people are griping that they didn't play all of their old songs, this is beyong me. But I do know that I rather enjoyed every minute of this two disc set. And come on, you're still getting some of the old classic Pumpkins like 'Blue Skies Bring Tears', 'Lucky 13', 'Starla', 'The Crying Tree of Mercury', 'Winterlong', 'Heavy Metal Machine', and 'Untitled'. That's almost half the set list on disc two! Why would you complain? Is it because they're not all of their hit singles? Well that's completely preposterous. If that's all you want to hear, go buy Vieuphoria or their greatest hits DVD. I've read over a few reviews complaining about there being too many acoustic songs... Now that's just inane, music is music, how exactly can there be "too much acoustic". I think some people either didn't watch the first disc or entirley missed the point. I enjoyed all the old songs presented here as well as the new material... even the acoustic songs.
