If you like Yanni's music then it's no doubt that you'll enjoy this concert. You can see how his concerts progress and transcend his previous ones in a very pleasing way. This concert is made up of the finest musicians playing and the singers are excellent in their performances as well. For anyone to compare this to hip hop or complain about the languages the songs are sung in obviously have no understanding of what beautiful music is. This is, once again, another great work by Yanni and company...thank you Yanni!

I had a chance to see this concert in person on June 5, 2009 in Auburn Hills, MI; I was blown away then and purchasing and viewing the DVD blew me away again. Yanni, I love your music. Keep up the great work!!

2/5 Disappointed, mostly Spanish and hip-hop music, too ghetto for me.

I am sure the concert was much better than the CD, but without the concert, it is just another CD. If you like popular music, then this is a great CD, but if you were seeking to hear some awesome Yanni instrumentals, buy a different CD. Also, the majority of the songs are in Spanish, so if you do not understand the language, neither will you understand the singing. I recommend listening to the samples, then pick and download the ones you like. I own almost all of Yanni's CDs, but this one has been disappointing. If the singing was in English, and if some of the songs were not so ghetto, I would have been able to sit and listen to the whole thing through; but as it is, I equate it to listening to mainstream radio; all it needs is some commercials mixed in. To me, the voices only seemed to drag the music down, too much of a contrast; as with a voice of another heart, with indifferent emotions and dissimilar expression.


5/5 Voices An Amazing Concert Experience

I saw Yanni Voices in Dallas in June. It was by far the best concert I have ever been to, and I have been to more than 125 concerts. Voices is the total concert experience. The musicianship is top notch, all 4 vocalists were incredible, and the special effects were amazing. I felt like I was in a dream.

My teenage nieces loved the show and met two of the band members after the show.

Thank you Yanni for such an incredible evening.

I am glad I can now get DVD's so my family and friends can experience it as well.

I stil prefer Yanni's the first/live at the acropolis and second/tribute dvd to Yanni Voices,because there are neither huge symphony orchestra nor spectacular stage in it,plus Christian Castro-Es Amor still not in this collection.Quite a bit disappointed.
