the Quest To Free A Girl From The Darkness Of No Memory Is Not A Game, But Sometimes The Players Compete Unknowing...
While Sakura’s Feathers May Hold The Magic Of Peaceful Memory, In The Wrong Hands That Power Can Be Warped, Opening Doors Better Left Alone… Reshaping Reality Into Dreams And Dreams Into Reality. Syaoran And Kurogane Race To Defend Their Friends, As One Wearing A Face Out Of The Past Seeks To Open The Floodgates To Immortality.
What Was Once Damaged Must Be Destroyed Before The Final Act, As Four Heroes, Once Strangers, Continue On Their Quest For Peace. As the first season of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle concludes, the story takes some unexpected twists. The figure who appeared as an unexplained demon in the land of Outo turns out to be Seishiro, a human Syaoran met in the Clow Kingdom. He struck a bargain with Yuko to journey from world to world, seeking eternal life. Using one of Sakura's feathers, Seishiro causes Outo, the world of the demon-hunters and the Cat's Eye Café, to implode, revealing that it's just a virtual-reality game. Fortunately, Syaoran keeps the sword Kurogane gave him on Outo--and the fighting skills he acquired there: he needs them to fight the demons Seishiro also brought. Not surprisingly, the season ends with the travelers leaving for yet another world. But the filmmakers continue to hint at the power of Fei Wang and his assistant Xing Huo, who watch the movements of Sakura and Syaoran. Presumably, their part in the story will be revealed in the second season. (Rated TV PG, suitable for ages 10 and older: violence) --Charles Solomon
