Despite a fulsome score and a plethora of elaborate CG effects, Heroic Age remains stolidly earthbound: The needlessly complicated storyline and portentous speeches feel like they were written by the Tribe of Lead. Even the antics of Age, who functions as a sort of space-age Mowgli, can't leaven this prosaic adventure. (Rated TV-PG: violence, grotesque imagery) --Charles Solomon
