    Marianne Faithfull Sings Kurt Weill DVD Summary The '60s pop icon, who at age 17 had her hit single "As Tears Go By," has survived the highs of early fame and the lows of drug dependency to still be performing today in her fifties.

    Here, Faithfull revives "An Evening in the Weimar Republic," a cabaret show she first developed in 1995 with musical director/pianist Paul Trueblood.

    She includes the master works of Kurt Weill and Bertold Brecht with the addition of a few extra songs.
