    This movie has something for all your family and friends. What a great western. I watched it twice when I rented it and knew I'd wind up having to buy it; I just want to share it with everyone I know. Lou Diamond Phillips took my breath away and the ending just slayed me...

    This John Wayne remake tells the story of a notorious gunfighter, Quirt Evans (Lou Diamond Phillips), who is wounded and seeks shelter with a Quaker family. Attracted to the family's beautiful, loving, and widowed daughter Temperance (Deborah Kara Unger), the hard-bitten gunfighter is transformed from a man with a history of violence into a man of peace.
