Solid performance
by W. Silverthorne
I don't care for the "movie" type format of this DVD, but the musical performances are just great. Josh Clark proves that he is one great young guitar player and Trevor Garret has a very likeable voice and is a competent keyboard player. Just skip over the movie portions and interviews and it is a great show.

good show bad camra work
by Daniel Bencloski
well,i was happy with the show on this dvd,but why did the edit person for the camra work so bad, everytime there was a solo from a person the camra showed everyone else. well when they do that it breaks my focus on the band and just the music i will listen too. so when a josh has a solo next time show it.

It's just the beginning.....
by Greg Brewer (Dayton, OH USA)
This is probably one of my favorite music DVD's that I own. Granted, this could be because Tea Leaf Green is one of my favorite bands. But the sound and overall production of this DVD is really great. Intertwined between songs are short interview snippets with the band members that give you a greater insight of exactly who these guys are and what they're about.
Tea Leaf Green is definitely a band on the rise, and this is just the beginning.

this is sick!!
by Samuel T. Dodson (Fort Wayne, IN)
This is one of the most spectacular music DVD's I have ever seen. I highly recommend you to buy this, as you will not be disappointed.

watch Tea Leaf Green
by The Delite Rancher (Phoenix, Arizona)
"Rock 'n' Roll Band" is a great introduction to Tea Leaf Green. This DVD primarily shows the band on stage at a 5/19/06 show at the Fox Theater in Boulder, Colorado. The other scenes consist of band interviews, focusing on singer/songwriter Trevor Garrod. The amount of live footage makes this more of a concert film than a documentary. As a whole, it's a very well done film. With the exception of some backlit interviews, the video is excellent, especially the live footage. The only significant issue with he video is the pixilation seen during the live songs. The audio is also superb and the surround sound separation is satisfying. While Tea Leaf Green may have a growing and dedicated following, there's little here that distinguishes the group from any other rock 'n' band. The song writing is average. While the improvisation is strong, there's no voice or sound that really distinguishes these guys from any other straight rock jamband. That written, "Rock 'n' Roll Band" stands as the essential video celebration of Tea Leaf Green.
