Sy Smith is one of the best unknown music artist that have come along in years. She has her own unique style that is appealing to someone who wants substance in their music. Sy music is a cross between neo soul, jazz and old school r&b. She takes a song and make it into her own. I think one of the great things about any artist is her ability to do a live show that gets the crowd jumping, Sy makes that look easy. My favorite part of the show is when she does her own redition of "Good Morning Heartache". Sy is an artist that expresses lyrical and musical freedom. All I can say is "Sy is tight fa-sho."
