A pleasant surprise.
by CeeCee (Islander)
My daughter and I are big fans of Tinker Bell, the first movie that came out. We enjoyed the story, the animation, and found it very funny. Even now my daughter still laughs despite having watched it so many times. I read the reviews for the Lost Treasure and decided to take a chance on it. Like many 5-star reviewers, we enjoyed the story of Tinker Bell's lesson that friendship is the "lost" treasure and the bigger role of Terrance in the movie. It was very funny, maybe a little more than the first Tinker Bell (for us), and it had the same great animation. With the exception of America Ferrera, the Lost Treasure also had the same great voices. If you and the kids enjoyed the first one, I can't see any reason why you wouldn't like the Lost Treasure. Just keep in mind that her friends Silvermist, Rosetta, Fawn, and Iridessa have small parts this time around. The ending was pretty spectacular by the way!

Not happy with sequel
by William's mommy (North Carolina)
Very disappointing. It is not amusing to me as a parent to buy a movie that features rudeness, impatience, angry outbursts, and selfishness by the main character. Also, the 30 second commercial for this movie, which was actually really cute, was nowhere in the movie.

thinly veiled porn
by Kim Nichols
The poses offered and slight crotch shots are not approporiate and my fustration with disney everything from ceos getting caught to employess caught doing pedophiolia is constantly reminded. It is disgusting and I choose the barbie movies now eventhough the graphics aren't as good.

MAGNIFICA SEGUNDA PARTE!!!
by C. Bellegarrigue (El Salvador)

the take home message in this movie is AWFUL
by A. Ritt
It is VERY pretty, but basically what would a kid learn from watching this thing? That you should lie, convince your friends to steal for you, never admit when you do something wrong, treat your friends like crap & it's okay. In fact you will celebrated!
Tinkerbell treats her good friends badly because she gets frustrated. She breaks a priceless heirloom and then un-friends a friend because he won't steal for her so she can go off on some crazy scheme to fix it. She blows the chance of fixing the damn heirloom cause she once again treats a friend like crap. She never admits that she broke the priceless heirloom but manages after the friend does steal for her to magically create something so fabulous that everyone is overjoyed.
I hate the message in this movie. Hated it.

Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure
. Pixie Hollow is all abuzz with preparations for autumn and Tinkerbell is hard at work on her latest invention when she is unexpectedly summoned by Queen Clarion and the Minister of autumn. Tinkerbell fears that she's in trouble again, but is instead delighted to find out that Fairy Mary has recommended her for the important job of creating a one-of-a-kind scepter that will focus the light of an unusual blue harvest moon through a rare moonstone in order to replenish the pixie dust tree's supply of pixie dust. Tinkerbell gladly rises to the challenge, accepting her dust-keeper friend Terrence's offers of help, but as the days fly rapidly by, pressure begins to build and Tinkerbell becomes annoyed by Terrence's constant attention. Sending Terrence away on an errand seems like a good idea, but what he brings back inadvertently causes the almost finished scepter and the incredibly rare moonstone to break into pieces. Tinkerbell lashes out at Terrence and then departs alone on a desperate quest to fix the moonstone. What Tinkerbell learns on her journey is that she must take responsibility for her own actions and that the power and value of true friendship is much greater than she'd ever imagined. Like the first
Tinkerbell
, the colors and clarity of animation are simply breathtaking in this production, but the story lags somewhat thanks to a lengthy set up and a general lack of suspense in the first half of the film. Still, it's a perfectly entertaining movie that will delight children ages 3 and up as well as satisfy most parents. Returning voice talent includes Mae Whitman, Kristin Chenoweth, Jane Horrocks, Anjelica Huston, Jesse McCartney, and Raven-Symone.
