    You will either really like the slick motion-capture CG or hate it. I tried to get into this, but felt something was lacking. It was like watching a mish-mash of anime (mecha, cyborgs, societal collapse, etc.) that has been done better.

    Awsome movie and on the PSP UMD format it is one of few that is worth getting. Both the Japanese and English dub tracks are available (also english subtitles). It is a great movie to have when you travel as it never gets old. Highly recomend this one for a buy.

    I don't usually say that UMD movies are worth buying but sometimes there is an exception.

    Movie, story, animation, acting were all very good. Would recommend this movie as a must see.

    Appleseed [UMD for PSP] Summary Earth's last city Olympus arose from the ashes of a global war on the backs of Bioroids, artificial clones who make up half the city's population. Under the strict guidance of a supercomputer, humanity's last survivors enjoy an idyllic peace, but only on the surface. Human terrorists w/in the military seek a return to power and clash with the government's ESWAT forces led by the legendary soldier, Deunan Knute, and her boyfriend who is 75% machine. Retrieving the Appleseed will end the conflict, and Deunan alone holds its secret.
